Blue Chips Stamps Files
In the mid-1970s, the Securities and Exchange Commission investigated Buffett and Munger in connection with the tangled mess of their investment holdings. The investigation files number over 4,000 pages. Years ago, I put in a Freedom of Information Request to obtain the files. Now, finally, they are in.
I’ve only leafed through them so far and already discovered many gems. I’ll point out more as I have a chance to digest it all.
Inside you’ll find letters to and from Buffett and Munger, transcripts of depositions, financial statements, and more. It’s truly a treasure trove, and I couldn’t wait to share them.
The files are stored on The Oracle’s Classroom website (go to BRK Archives » Blue Chip Stamps).
